Bio:
Willie Woodruff, also known as GCP or Groove City Projects, began making music for hire in 1998. He honed his musical talents throughout his school years by forming various rap groups with cousins and friends and producing all the music from his Boss drum machine and Gemini samplers. His style of beat making and using samples became popular amongst friends and he then took on the moniker of “Groove”. He developed talents and a style of hip hop music that blends lush instrumentation, DJ elements, and synthesized sounds with samples of music from various eras and genres which he refers to as “Soul Hop”.
