Triangle 2 is a free VST plugin made by Cakewalk. It's a decent sounding little synth with features such as 2 Oscillators, one Sub-Oscillator and a Tuned Noise generator.
I also found the multi-mode to be very useful in getting some decently fat sounds out this little beast. The interface is quite ugly but where it lacks in aesthetics it makes up for
is usable sounds and solid performance.
Cakewalk describes this VST synth as "Capable of a broad range of sounds, from warm to aggressive, Triangle II packs the perfect feature set for a mono synthesizer for uncompromised playability."
Cakewalk 2 is made by Cakewalk and despite it being ugly this is still a free VST plugin I would say is worth dropping into your DAW and giving a go. |
