The ST 2008 free VST plugin is a Pads and sound effects synthesizer. This VST is meant for fast and easy creation of moving textures, lush pads and electronic sound effects. The 3 LFOs play a large role in defining the sounds you can create. My usage of the LFOs is largely evident in the video as they help in the creation of sound fx, motion and an arpeggio emulation.
The ST 2008 is made by GTG and can be used in a range of genres. I do however see this synth being most applicable to IDM, Ambient, Dubstep and Experimental genres. You can read the full ST 2008 review where you can also preview and download the loops heard in this video. |
